Shahira is a wife, mom & graphic designer! Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Africa, she later moved to Canada where she attended high school and university. Shahira has had the opportunity to experience a diverse and multi-cultural life. She graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Design Degree from the prestigious York University & Sheridan Design Program. She now resides in sunny California with her husband and 4 year old daughter.
Design & Typography have always been a passion of hers. Yes that means she can stare at and critique TYPOGRAPHY for many hours on end and not get tired of it! From planning all her daughters birthday parties to several other soirees for friends and clients, Shahira loves focusing on all the small, intricate details that make an event oh so memorable. A perfectionist in planning and execution, Shahira leaves no stone unturned (or undecorated) until she arrives at the state of perfection that she desires and her clients deserve!
If not in the midst of designing a fun project, Shahira loves spending time with her family & friends. Some of her absolute favorite hobbies are cooking/baking, hiking, travelling, diving into DIY home projects, enjoying a good read and last but not least, shopping!
